Liverpool FC news: Juventus ready to wait until next summer to sign Emre Can on a free transfer

Juventus are prepared to wait until next summer to sign Emre Can from Liverpool for free, despite rumours the Italian champions will launch another bid in January.

The Germany international was the subject of intense transfer speculation during the summer and is still yet to agree a new contract at Anfield, with his current deal due to expire in June 2018.

This sparked rumours linking the 23-year-old with a move to Juventus, who are keen on signing the midfielder.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juve have backtracked on the idea of rekindling their interest in January and will wait until the end of the season.

The Italian giants don’t want to pay over the odds to sign Can and risk doing so in an inflated winter transfer window.
